This is a question that interests each of our donors, which is quite natural and normal. Lifeline Ukraine uses funds for the operation of the 7333 hotline in the first place, but this is not all of the expenses. Most of them are left aside, but we will talk about that later.

So, what is meant by the term "operation of the hotline"? We need to hire the necessary number of people to ensure that the hotline is open seven days a week, on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

One person can't handle either 12 hours of work or 24 hours, and it's obvious. That is why our specialists work in shifts. One shift is the work of two consultants at the same time. We have 22 consultants on our staff. At the same time, we need to increase the number of consultants, as the number of calls is growing every month. In addition, our office staff is left out: CEO, chief project manager, marketing manager, SMM manager, and fundraising manager.

They ensure the work of our organization as a whole, our continuous presence on social media, and constant quality control and reporting. We have covered the issue of staff costs in general, but we have not touched upon other expenses that are also constant for us every month, such as office rent and renting a target. Like every organization, they are considerable. Unfortunately, donations or donations made to our accounts cannot cover all the expenses of the organization, they do not even cover any of these items in full. That is why we are simultaneously attracting help from international organizations and businesses. The first ones have an expiration date, usually a few months, which complicates planning, because increasing the staff is seen as an unreasonable risk, even though it is a necessity at the moment. That is why we are focusing on increasing the role of donations, only thanks to them we can more easily plan to increase the number of Lifeline Ukraine consultants without losing the quality of our services.
