We are pleased to announce that Lifeline Ukraine founder Paul Niland has become a member of the working group at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to develop a national strategy for suicide prevention.

This is an important step in recognizing the role of our organization in the field of mental health and crisis support. Lifeline Ukraine has been providing assistance to people in the most difficult moments of life for several years, and now our expertise will help develop systemic solutions at the state policy level.

“23 years ago, when I first came to Ukraine, I could not imagine that I would be among the leaders in the field of suicide prevention in this country. But today I understand that this is how I can best serve Ukraine,” — Paul Niland.

We are proud of this step and continue to work to make psychological support available to everyone who needs it 💙
