Traditionally, we report on the activities of the LifeLine Ukraine hotline for October. Our consultants continue their work 24/7, but we still lack the resources to ensure that our specialists can provide services.
Thus, for October only 50.8% of the potential consultation stream was processed. Priority remains with phone consultations through the number 7333 as the most effective during crisis counselling (compared to text-based) given the current resource constraints.
50.8% is actually a large amount; it represents 3376 consultations, of which 2183 were via phone and 1193 in real-time chats.
To achieve greater coverage, we need to increase consultants' working hours, which requires additional funding. Especially over time, the need for psychological support and prevention of suicidal states is expected to grow.
